Laurel Daisy Reeves was the youngest child of John Reeves and Annie Harvey She was born in Kyogle hospital, New South Wales, Australia, on March 9, 1919. Laurel was very musical and became an accomplished violinist, receiving lessons from the local Catholic nuns. She was also an excellent seamstress and did a lot of work in the local community, including making wedding dresses. Laurel married Frederick Manning Moore on September 11, 1937 at Kyogle and they had three children. They lived in Kyogle until 1965 when they moved to Cootamundra. On retirement in 1975 they moved to Gosford to be near family. Laurel died on December 31, 2008 at Gosford, New South Wales, Australia.
