Biography

  • Born 1809Died 1926 Buried Freeman Cemetery.
  • Note:' {geni:about_me} After Jesse & Susannah married, he bought several tracts of land (through land grant) 2 miles south of Cherryville, Missouri, includes the "Old Worley Homestead", on Hwy 19 "the Newton Worley farm". They built several log cabins on this large tract of land as some of the children would get married. Nathan Green & his wife Lucy Catherine Baker Reeves bought 80 acres from Jesse and that was the old log house that was in use for many years (built in 1861). All of Newton Worley's family was raised here and still own the property. Jesse lived to be 116 years old.

Reeves-4559 and Reeves-318 appear to represent the same person because: Please Merge Reeves-4559 and Reeves-318

Reeves-318 and Reeves-4042 appear to represent the same person because: I believe the only distinction between these two profiles is the wife and spelling of the first name. Presumably Jesse was married twice ?
