Biography

Claudia "Mozelle" was born in August of 1913 in Volga, Houston, Texas. ^[1]She was the daughter of Jeff Reeves and Nora James and is listed in their household on the 1920 ^[2]and the 1930 Census with seven siblings. ^[3]

Between 1930 and 1940 she married Basil E. Etheredge and is listed with him and a child, Bobby Wayne Etheredge on the 1940 Census in the household of his parents (JC and Oma Etheredge) in Justice Precinct 4, Houston, Texas. ^[4] Records indicate that Mozelle and Basil had at least two children:

Bobby Wayne Etheredge born on August 11, 1937 ^[5]

Thomas James Etheredge born on November 16, 1941 ^[6]

She passed away in Harris, Texas in November of 1974 at the age of 61 and is buried in Antioch Cemetery in Lovelady, Houston, Texas. ^{[7][8] [9]}
