Martha was born about 1859. She was the daughter of William Reeves and Jane Rix. She passed away in 1933.
Unless Daniel married a second woman named Martha, she was alive in 1940. Find a Grave says she died in 1933, but this might not be her gravestone. Although her parents have been attached, the husband's name looks more like Samuel than Daniel to me.
She could even be the M Taylor in the 1950 US Census - a widow, born Canada, age 88 in a nursing home in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
