Robert Refold married Ann Greene in 1641 in Guildford, Surrey, England. Both were of Godalming, Surrey.^[1]He was buried in 1661.^[2]

Research Notes

At Godalming there were children of Robert and Ann nee Greene, and Robert and Anne nee ? and Robert and Sarah nee Wingham and Robert and Mary nee ? Robert's surname has several variations at children's baptism. Also which burials are for which Robert R*f*l*? Robert and Ann have Robert baptized 1641^[3] (when+where buried?), then there is a Robert baptized in 1644 and a Robert buried in 1644. that suggests Robert baptized 1641 died before 1644. Either Refo(ul)l(d) is a variant of Reffell or the Roberts and Ann(e)s are of families surnamed R*f*ld and different families surnamed R*f*l. And from where did the Godalming R*f*l* families come?
