Biography

Evelyn Reid was born in 1878 in Clarenville, Newfoundland. Her parents were James Reid and Rachel Balsom.

Evelyn married Abner Blundon on Dec 5, 1895 at Hickman's Harbour, Newfoundland.^[1] In Error, Abner was recorded as William on the Marriage Record.

She and her husband, Abner were living at Hickman's Harbour in 1911.^[2] 1921,^[3]. 1935^[4] and 1945^[5]

She passed away in 1974 and is buried in the S\lvation Army Cemetery at Hickman's Harbour, Newfoundland.^[6]

Research Note

Her marriage record states she married William Blunden on Dec 5, 1895. That is the only record of this William that can be located. All other records show Joseph Abner Blundon as husband of Evelyn. A marriage record for Evelyn and Joseph Abner Blundon has not been located.
