Margaret Catherine Bane Reid was born about 1743 in Durlach, Germany. She was the 4th child and daughter of Johan Georg Ried and Maria Magdalena (Eichhorn) Reid.
She arrived in America with parents in 1752.
Margaret Reid married [[Eichorn-52|Matthias Eichorn, 1758, in Waldoboro, Maine. They had 6 Children.
She passed away about 1815 in Waldoboro, Lincoln, Maine, United States.
