Alexander Cicero Reid was born December 25, 1869 in Pike County, Mississippi. He was the son ofJames Reid and Roscena Williams. At the age of 12, he was attending School in Lawrence County, Mississippi, while in the home of his parent.s James and Roseena Reid.[1]

He married Molly Sistrunk on December 1, 1889 in Lawrence County, Mississippi.[2] They had no children.

He married Victoria Angeline Lilly. (1878-1933) on January 27, 1895 in Brookhaven, Lincoln Mississippi.[3] They had more than 9 children with some Dying at birth or as infants.

In 1900, Alexander (30) and wife Victoria (27) were in McClendon, Mississippi, where he worked as a Teamster. They had 2 children in the home with them, Lesly-2 and baby Horace E-3 months old.[4]

Alexander was a Farmer in 1910, with Victoria taking care of the home and children, Lesley-11, Estel-9, Mary E-7, Ella-5 and Bessie-1.[5]

By 1920, they had moved to Ritchie, Lincoln County, Mississippi where they had bought a Farm. at this time they had 9 children.[6]

He died on May 19, 1931, at the age of 61, in Illinois. [7]
