Biography
Anne Reid lived in Appalachia, in Tennessee.
Anne was born about 1796. She is the daughter of Samuel Reid and Nancy Moore.
She lost her father at an early age and in about 1804 two guardians were appointed for her:
On motion of Samuel Frashier (Frazier) and Martin Rorex are appointed Guardian of six orphan children of Samuel Reed ( Reid) deceased to wit as Mary, Jane, Anna, Robert, Agnes, Samuel, and entered into bonds in the penalty of as the law directs.
Large Court Book (Old) page 599 Robert and Samuel M Reid to choose James Reid their guardian and the court ordered that the said James Reid be appointed Guardian of Agnes W. Reid and that Samuel Frazier, Martin Rorez be released from their bonds here to fore entered into guardian if Reid Children and the said James Reid entered into bond with security according.[1]
