Biography

She is recorded as "Fasacah" in the 1860 Census. She was born in 1854. She is the daughter of Samuel Reid and Caroline Unknown.

I wonder if her father Samuel B. Reid fought in the 1848 Mexican War. He named one of his daughters Buenavista, which was a major battle (1847) in that war and another daughter possibly Resaca (1860 Census "Fasacah") which was another battle, "Resaca de la Palma," 1846.
