Annie was born about 1859.
A Census of 1900 in Norwalk, Fairfield, Connecticut lists Wilbur S Hyatt b. Nov 1857 living with his wife, Annie A. 41 b. Mar 1859 in New York and children; Etta M. (18) b. Abt. 1882, Charlotte E. (16), William M. (15), and Walter E. (13) b. Abt. 1887. Please see Research Notes[1][2]
Research Notes
The 1900 Census of Norwalk, Fairfield, Connecticut lists Wilbur S Hyatt age 42 b. Nov 1857 in Connecticut , married to Annie A. b. age 41 b. Mar 1859 for nineteen years. Annie A. was born in New York and her parents were born in Ireland. She is the mother of all of Wilbur's children. The marriage is estimated to have occurred in 1881.
I contend that Annie A. is a different person than Mary Augustus Kelly who is alleged to have married Wilbur S Hyatt and that the information regarding Wilbur's marriage to Mary Augustus Kelly is incorrect. No matter how you configure Mary Augustus Kelly, it's hard to believe that Annie A. is a configuration of that name. [2][3] Conway-3024 01:26, 9 April 2022 (UTC).
Annie A. Reilly was indeed the wife of Wilbur S Hyatt . This is evidenced by the marriage record for their son, William Marten Hyatt in 1906. [4]
Annie Reilly is also mentioned on the memorial notes for their son, Walter Eden Hyatt (1887-1959).
