On 20 November 1894 at Letterkenny, he (43) married Ellen Honoria Flattery of letterkenny, daughter of Charles Flattery, fisheries inspector. Edward was a sergeant in the R.I.C.

Research Notes
In ancestry-com trees he is shown as the son of Andrew O'Reilly and Ellen McAloon although no further supporting evidence for this beyond the marriage registration.
There is an 1843 baptism for Edward Reilly at Kilskeery although the details are hard to read.
