Biography

James Frank/Frank James Relue was born circa June 20/21, 1878 [1] [2] in Indiana. He was the son of Newton B. Relue and Margaret M "Maggie" Karber. At the age of 1, he was in his parent's home in Aboite, Allen County, Indiana. [3]

He married Katherine "Katie" Ester Pope (1877-1931) on June 20, 1899 in Fort Wayne,[4] Allen County, Indiana. [5] They had at least 12 [citation needed] children:

They started out married live living with his parent's in Adams, Allen County, Indiana, where in 1900, James worked as a Day Laborer. [10]

By 1910, they had bought a home in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, where he was a Wagon Drover for a Brewery. [6] They had Walace-10, Louis-6, George-4, and Abeigail M-1 in the home at the time.

He registered for the Draft in 1918, in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana. [1] He was a Truck Driver for Coca Cola Bottling works.

At age 48, he was working for a Packing Company in Fort Wayne, while Catherine was taking care of the home and children, Wallace-19, Louis-16, George-14, Abigale-10, Gilbert-7, and Wayne-3.[7]

Frank died circa January 29, 1928, at the age of 49, and was buried in the Prairie Grove Cemetery in Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana. [2]
