Sorry I did not see this message on the requested merge. I have been on vacation and do not have Wi Fi connection. If someone wants to take over as profile manager on this person they can have it. I am working on closer relatives at this time.

Rem-3 and Rems-1 appear to represent the same person because: This newly created duplicate is the oldest maternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge into the NNS PPP. No tree conflicts. Thanks!

Remsen-17 and Rems-1 appear to represent the same person because: This is the oldest maternal ancestor in this chain in need of a merge. No tree conflicts. These matches have been reviewed by the New Netherland Settlers Merge Approval System, and the "Green" destination NNS profile is protected as PPP, and the "Merge Pending" profile is now ready and able to be merged into it. I saved the data to the bios. Thanks!

Vanderbeek-28 and Vanderbeeck-10 are not ready to be merged because: Bea, I would ask you to please refrain from all these merge proposals, or making lots of changes to them before merge. These are New Netherland project descendants, and they are in the middle of the process of evaluation for merge. Some have a temporary PPP lock, or a template banner that says Do Not Merge, while they are under review. But these merge proposals and edits of existing information just confuses the whole issue, and interferes with the scheduled project process of getting them ready for merge. So please leave them Unmerged Match until we can properly process them in the right order. That said, placing Comments in the Comments section to help us understand a few things on them is fine.

This probably is the only correct profile for Femmetje Rems ,all other Femmetjes got a surname that´s wrong spelled and not correct VanderBeeck (should be van der Beeck) but father was named van der Back so were is the van der Beeck coming from?

Joost (= Joseph) Hegeman, Jacobus Hegeman en Femmetie Rems).

  • Joseph Hegeman, ged. Amsterdam (N.K.) 15 januari 1651 (getuigen

Joseph Margits en Gertruit Margits), tr. 1 e 21 okt. 1677 Femmetje Rems, overleden 1686, dochter van Rem Janse van der Back en Jannetje Rapalje .

  • Femmetje gets patronym from father so she is named Femmetje Rems ,all other Femmetjes VanderBeeck,VanderBeek,VanderBeke,Remmesshould be merged into Rems-1 that would be the most correct and the quickest and easiest way to get rid of all these cluthering different profiles

Vanderbeeck-10 and Remsen-17 appear to represent the same person because: same people ,a lot of Femmetjes and proposed merges already for all of them ,this is hopefully the last one ,same ladies ,so can be merged!

about the last name ,she was named : Femmetje Rems, overleden 1686, dochter van Rem Janse van der Back en Jannetje Rapalje Last names weren´t used before 1811 ,so most likely Femmetje used patrnym of father for ´last name ´ so name would/should be Femmetje Rems ,but that can probably be adjusted later ,so for now please merge ;)

Vanderbeek-28 and Vanderbeeck-10 appear to represent the same person because: These ladies are one and the same ,also before 1811 people used patronyms, almost no last names ¨van der Back¨ was the last name of her father ,now someone has chosen to change that in: van der Beeck and pasted that in one word (incorrect!!) if used, it should be van der Beek or van der Back, maybe someone could correct that also ??

But anyway these two ladies are te same and now there are three of them and two Josephs ,so I proposed merges for all of them and hope someone can merge these now 5 people in to 2 correct ones :) according to recource Femmetje was named :Femmetje Rems ,so with patronym of father ,not van der Beek (!)

Vanderbeeck-10 and Rems-1 appear to represent the same person because: These are the same women ,in those days people didn´t use last names so Femmetje was named Femmtje Rems ,her father was named ,van der Back ,now last name is set Vanderbeeck ,this is not correct ,should be van der Beeck or van der Back ,but anyways these two ladies are one and the same ,last name can be adjusted any time later
