Jean Baptiste Arnault dit Desloriers was born about 1680 in France. He came to Canada as a soldier (Soldat) in the Company de Villiers. He married twice. He married Marie Anne Prévost Provost in 1705 in Varennes. They had six children together (PRDH). Widowed he then married Marie Anne Pineault in 1718, in Contrecoeur. They had nine children (PRDH). Jean Baptiste died in 1750 in Varennes, Canada, Nouvelle France, reported being 81 years old.
On 26 Nov 1705 "Jean Baptiste Arnault," of the parish of Assilat, in the diocese of Limoges, France, son of "Jean Arnault" and "Marie Forget," married "Marie Anne Prevost," daughter of "Rene Prevost" and "Anne Daudelin," at Ste-Anne-de-Varennes. [1][2][3]

On 29 May 1718, "Jean Regnauld," widowed from "Marie Anne Prevots," married "Marie Anne Pinot," daughter of "Michel Pinot" and "Simone Beaudet," at Très-Ste-Trinité-de-Contrecoeur. [4][5]
Death and Burial
"Jean Baptiste Delaurier" died on 25 Mar 1750 and was buried on 26 Mar, at Ste-Anne-de-Varennes. He was reported to be aged 81 years old. [6][7]
