Louyse was born 10 May 1677. She was the daughter of Mathurin Joseph Renault and his wife Marie Pelletié residents of "Gros Pin" [1]. She was baptized the next day in the Chapel of Charlesbourg, act recorded in the register of Notre-Dame-de-Québec. Godparents were Mathurin Villeneuve and Marie Morin wife of Noël (?), no signatures. On 23 Jul 1691, in Notre-Dame-de-Québec, Mathurin Palin of the parish of Ste Radegonde, évêché de Poitiers, married Louise Renauld daughter of deceased Mathurin Joseph Renauld and Marie Peltier. Witnesses include the bride's stepfather, Pierre Canard, and many others. Several of the witnesses sign but neither the bride nor groom signed. [3]
Marie Louise Renaud, 72 year old wife of Mathurin Palin D'Abonville, died 27 Apr 1744. She was buried the next day in Notre-Dame-de-Québec. [4]
