William, son of John Rendle (1754 - 1826) and Mary (Perry) Rendle (1756 - 1834), was born 24 Feb 1787 and baptised on 11 March 1787 in Talland, Cornwall, England.[1] He was the son of John Rendle and Mary Perry.

Their son William was born on 18 Feb 1811 in Millbank Cornwall, England This detail is found in "Plarr’s Lives of the Fellows" Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. [3]
William took his wife and their young son by ship from Fowey to Southwark, London, where he brought up the family.[4]
In the 1841 census William (age 54) was a cooper in Long Lane Chapel Place, Bermondsey, London & Surrey, England.[5]
In the 1851 census William (age 64), Foremans cooper, was the widowed head of household in Union Square, Saint Mary Newington, Newington, London & Surrey, England.[7]
He married Harriet in 1852.
William's marriage to Harriet Wright was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1852 in the Newington district.[8]
William's death (age 80) was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1867 in the Liskeard district.[9][10][11]
