Biography
Private James Renfro Sr served with Lincoln County Militia, Virginia Militia during the American Revolution.
James Renfro Sr is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A095438.
James was born about 1727 in Jamestown, Virginia and died in 1801 in Lincoln Co., Kentucky.[1]
He is the son of Joseph Renfro and Mary Randolph.
He bought property from William Cook Jr on September 23, 1773 220 acres on Fox Run, Pittsylvania (now Franklin) County, Virginia Colony.
Marriages
- Lydia Harris married in 1761 in Woodford, Kentucky. They had seven children. Lydia died about 1780.
