Dr. William H. Renick was one of seven children born to Robert May Renick and his wife Anna R. Pike. William was a graduate of Washington University, like his brother Robert.
William served as a US. Military Surgeon and spent time with the 7th Cavalry stationed at Fort Harker, KS in the late 1860s.
William was united in marriage in 1872 to Datie B. Morrill. William and Datie were blessed with the birth of three children during their 17 year marriage:
Maude Janette Renick Averill
Infant Renick
Anna Pike Renick Donnally
William passed away at the age of 43. He is interred with his parents and siblings. His wife Datie was re-married after his death to Louis Gaston. Datie is interred with her second husband in Illinois.[1]
