Biography

March 26, 1915 The Frederick Post PARALYSIS PROVES FATAL Milton O. Renner Suddenly Stricken at New Midway. Stricken with paralysis yesterday morning while at work in Shank's store at New Midway, Milton O. Renner, 69 years old, died yesterday afternoon at 5 o'clock, without regaining consciousness. Mr. Renner had been employed in Shank's store for years and was the acting postmaster at New Midway. He was stricken suddenly unconscious while talking with Mrs. Shank and was taken to his home. His brother, Frank Renner, died about two months ago. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Alice Smith, Woodsboro; Mrs. Jennie Weird, Charlestown, W. Va.; Mrs. Maggie Grimes, Thurmont; Theodore and Benjamin Renner, at home, and a sister, Mrs. Laura Biggs, of Sleepy Creek, W. Va. The funeral will take place Saturday at 12 o'clock, with services at the house conducted by the Rev. R. S. Poffenbarger and burial at Rocky Ridge. Sharretts & Powell are the undertakers.
