Biography
James was baptised in St Ives, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom on 25 Nov 1831 [1]
By 1851 he was in Merthyr Tydfil, GLA, WLS as a collier but back in St Ives as a copper miner by 1861. The 1891 census records him as blind.
