John Rescorl was the son of Richard Rescorl.

He was a migrant from Cornwall to Melbourne Australia. He travelled with his wife Susan Jane (George) Rescorl, John Rescorl, and daughter Emily (Rescorl) Stick to Melbourne Australia on the ship "Harbinger" from London, England. They arrived on 2nd October 1884. [1]

He was the father of Emily (Rescorl) Stick [2]

In an announcment at the time of his widow's death in 1928, John is cited as having been a Master Mariner [3]

John passed away in Picton, New South Wales in 1885. [4]
