Catharina was born about 1818 in the village of Neudorf in the Glückstal district of the Odessa area and Black Sea region of South Russia.[1]


Catharina married twice:

On January 18, 1837, at the age of 19, Catharina married Johann Adam Hieb (Jr.) (1790-1861) in Neudorf.[2]
