Biography

He was the son of Prime Minister Christian Ditlev Frederik Reventlow , who was privately graduated from the University , in 1796, he passed the theoretical test of the Latin-Legal exam and then studied for a few years in Kiel . In 1800, he settled on Freedom Memorial and later on Pederstrup under the county Christianssæde , which he also inherited with the Reventlow County in Sønderjylland after his father's death. Honors were as follows:

1811 Chamberlain

1840 Commander

1843 Major Cross of the Dannebrogord .

As a humane and reformed landlord, he followed in the footsteps of his great father. In 1848 , he had succeeded in abolishing all households' hovering and obsolete work on the Christianssæde County. In 1832 , he was a member of the assembly of enlightened men who were summoned in Copenhagen to consider some objects concerning Denmark's provincial status In 1835-36 , 1838 and 1840 he held seats in the East Indies 1836 and 1838 was deputized for the Knightship in the Schleswig-Holstein Assembly . He took the floor for the complete abolition of the Hoverite and the Tithing's Performance in the Kjærven (printed speech) and published ( 1844 ) attempts to answer the task of helping the Husband to be better helped .

It also deserves to be noted that he made a petition on the drafting of a new general law. He had inherited the father's religious freedom and published the writing to Med Christian (1840), in which he fights the doctrine of the eternal death penalty and the personality of the devil . On the other hand, the priest WF Engelbreth took note.

Reventlow's Conclusions, caused by some of the last political time events ( 1848 ), were published after the author's death. The piety of the father's act, reminded of his early deceased wife and the circle of distinguished personalities, among which he was raised, followed him throughout his life ( Benedicte. Blicke und Bilder , 1831).

He died on January 30, 1851 at Pederstrup.

Marriage: On 24 June 1800, married he Benedicte von Qualen (4 November 1774 - 18 April 1813), daughter of Commandor Frederik Christian von Qualen .

He is buried in Theophili Forest at Vesterborg .
