Antoinette was born in 1846. She is the daughter of Antoine Rey. She was the widow of monsieur Horsette when, on 8 April 1880 she married Auguste Menanteau. The wedding location is not recorded on the registration, but appears to be in the Nicola Valley, British Columbia. [1] [2] Antionette had a big grand house by Riverside park, never learned English, and was visited often by Father LeJeune. [3]
