Maria Concepcion Rey AKA Abuela Born: Seville, Spain July 31, 1881 Died: June 23, 1930 Washington, D.C. Buried: Mt. Olivet Cemetery 1300 Bladensburg Road, NE Washington, D.C. Section 58 Lot 495

They were married by proxy, in a civil ceremony in Seville on January 20, 1903. Concepcion's brother Viriato stood in for Ramon. Maria Concepción left for Cuba and was married to Ramon in a ceremony before a priest on February 10, 1903.

Ramon Granados Marquez became a Naturalized Citizen of the U.S.A in the District of Columbia on August 6, 1917 together with his wife, Concepcion and their 7 children: Luis Leon, Concepcion, Rosario, Clara Maria, Ramon, Maria Carman and Dolores; ages 13,11,9,7,5,3 and 1. Ramon, Maria Carman and Dolores; ages 5,3 and 1 were born in the US.
