Biography
Ascension was born in Mexico around 1877. She married Fernando Reyes, also of Mexico. Their first four children were born in Mexico. In 1911, the family immigrated to the United States and settled in California. In 1920 they were living in Los Angeles, California. The children living with them at the time were Espedito along with his wife, Juana, and their daughter, Esperanza, Luz, Melquiades, Dolores, Nicolas, Socorro, Enriqueta, and Eliza.
