At age 90 on 14 October 1946 Blanche died[7][8]. She is buried in Old Portion, Family Rose Garden 52, Plot 0019, Woronora Cemetery, Woronora, Sutherland, New South Wales, Australia.
A Bathurst Divorce Case.
FOGARTY V. FOGARTY. Sydney, Wednesday.
In the Divorce Court to-day, before Mr. Justice Simpson, Blanche Fogarty (nee Reynolds) sought for a dissolution of her marriage with William Henry Fogarty, laborer, on 'the grounds of drunkenness, and cruelty. Petitioner deposed to having married respondent at Bathurst in February, according to: the. rites of the Church of England. She numerated certain acts of cruelty which she alleged her husband had beem guilty of. On one occasion he struck her on the head with his fist. At another time he struck her with a chair, and on another occasion endeavored to stab her with a table knife. He was a. member of the Roman Catholic faith. He had several times taken the pledge, but had never been able to keep it. He had taken a loaded gun on one or two- occasions. He had received two sentences for assault. She had been made ill from his treatment. The case is not concluded.

Mr Whitfeld, instructed by Messrs Shorter and Son, as agent for Mr G C. Driffield, of Condobolin, appeared for the petitioner, Blanche Fogarty, who sought a dissolution of her marriage with William Henry Fogarty, a labourer, on the grounds of his habitual drunkenness for three years and upwards, failure to support her, and habitual cruelty towards her. The marriage took place on 1st February, 1879, at Bathurst according to the rites of the Church of England. His Honor, having heard the evidence of the petitioner, said he was satisfied that the respondent was an habitual drunkard, and had been habitually cruel to the petitioner. He accord ingly granted the decree nisi, making it returnable in one month.
