John was born in 1880. He is the son of James Reynolds and Janet Finlayson. ^[1]

He was a Consulting Electrical and Mechanical Engineer. He worked in Mexico, America (Virginia) and England.

He married (1) Lucie Aileen Power, daughter of Edmund Stapletan and Lucy Herrera, on 4 March 1920 in México, Distrito Federal, México. ^[2]

Lucie died on 24 June 1928 in México, Distrito Federal, México. ^[3]

He married (2) Evelyn Carr in 1939.

In 1939 John and Evelyn resided at G 61 Du Cane Court, Wandsworth, Wandsworth, London, England. ^[4]

He died in 1946 and is buried in the St John the Evangelist Churchyard, Hildenborough, Tonbridge and Malling Borough, Kent, England. ^[5]
