I am uploading the full text from pgs. 362-363 of "The Reynolds Family Association Centennial Collection", edited by Susan Rogers Clement (1992). This is important, because there is little evidence of any of the dates for this individual. Merryann Palmer

It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Christopher by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
Tilman is a good source, BUT, he does have several mistakes. I don't know anything about this Robert Reynolds, but at one time I thought I was related to Christopher Reynolds. According to Tilman, Christopher is the father of Thomas Reynolds who married Mary Ashall. This is incorrect. Thomas Reynolds, son of Christopher Reynolds married Elizabeth Ashall. Her father George Ashall's 1671 will and 1680 estate papers prove this. Tilman incorrectly assumed the wrong sister married Thomas.
I suggest you also take a look at Reynolds History Annotated by William Glasgow Reynolds to see if he has anything on your Robert Reynolds.
There are at least two Reynold men mentioned in the charter. One is Henry Reynold and the other is Richard Reynold. I do not have men with these names in my tree that would have been alive and living in Virginia about 1607. I do not know what line they came from. Sorry.
The child, Christopher, listed under Marriage in the biography narrative does not belong, as he has different parents. He is not listed in the data section of the profile.

'1279. ROBERT REYNOLDS, of (2), b. 1606, m. 1 May 1626 Margery Powell and settled Bermuda. Issue: several sons one of whom was named John. '
The problem is that the '2' refers to George. George doe not have a son listed by that name.
Obviously the 2 was a typo. Does anyone know whose father is this Robert Reynolds father?
