Thomas was born in 1783 and married Eleanor "Nelly" Boaz in 1811 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia.^[1]

History of Patrick County, Virginia; Page 306: "In addition to the Harden Reynolds family, other Reynolds families such as those of Thomas, Moses, and Jesse Reynolds lived in the area and made many contributions. Thomas Reynolds, born about 1785, seems to have lived east of No Business Mountain. His wife was Nellie Eleanor Boaz, and they had a number of descendants."
