Daughter of Jesse Reynolds born about 1793 in Lincoln Co. to John and Elizabeth Reynolds and of Sarah Singleton Reynolds Wheeldon born in Lincoln Co. to John Singleton and Mary White. Jesse and Sarah had three children in addition to Nancy: William Thomas Reynolds buried at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Pulaski Co.; John Singleton Reynolds, a Baptist Minister, operated a sawmill on the home place on Glade Fork, place of burial unkown; and Mary "Polly" Jane who married John Singleton and lived in Lincoln Co., reported to have been buried in the Reynolds/Singleton Cemetery and later moved to the Double Springs Cemetery. Nancy married Pleasant Wheeldon 13 Oct. 1834 in Pulaski Co. The children of Nancy and Pleasant were; Cornelius Green, William H., Sarah Jane, George Harvey, John Wesley, James and Charles Franklin. On the 1860 census Nancy was head of the household and her mother was living with her. In 1870 she was age 55 living next door to son William H. and in 1880 living with son Charles Franklin. Nancy was deceased prior to the 1900 census.
