Biography

George was born in 1828. He was the son of John Hiram Ester Rhoads and Susan Wilson.

He married Lucinda Pierson in 1850 in Dekalb County, Illinois[1][2]

He passed away in 1916.[3]

They lived in Chenango Co., NY and had 3 children: Andrew (1812 NY-1880, a farmer; wife Almira ___; 8 children), Sarah aka "Sally" (1822 NY, age 28 in 1850 Census), and George Washington (1828 NY-1916, a farmer in NE). The family had moved to Pampas Township [now Cortland], DeKalb, IL before 1850.
