Biography

Harriett was born on February 20, 1839 in Owensboro, Daviess County, Kentucky.[1] She is the daughter of Robert Rhodes and Rachel Wedding.

She was christened on March 28, 1839, in Lawrence, Daviess County, Kentucky, her parents being named as Roberto Rhodes and Rachel Wedding.[2]

On June 29, 1858, Harriett was married to Benedict Joseph Smith, son of Samuel Smith and Nancy Cusick, in St. Charles, Marion County, Kentucky.[3]

She died on November 2, 1925, in Denver, Colorado and was buried on November 7, 1925, in the St. Francis Cemetery, St. Paul, Neosho County, Kansas. A memorial page has been established on Find A Grave.
