Capt. Simon Rhodes, b. 24 Jan 1716; died 22 Apr 1784; m. (1) Anne Babcock & m. (2) Martha Babcock.

He may have served in the Providence County, Rhode Island militia. According to records found on FamilySearch, he was a captain in the first Providence Company and was serving in 1733. [4]

Rhodes-22 and Rhodes-5586 appear to represent the same person because: Rhodes-5586 is the same as Rhodes-22. I mistakenly created a duplicate for William Rhodes. I should've searched specifically for him instead of relying on him to pop up as an option while adding them. I did search for Sarah Mansfield before adding her, and found Rhodes-22. I apologize for the inconvenience.
