Thomas married Mary Elizabeth Grace on February 18, 1892, in Keighley, at Saint Mary, Eastwood. The couple would have two children. His wife passed away in 1936. Thomas is enumerated in the 1939 Register residing with his two daughters in Keighley.

Thomas passed away on February 3, 1940, in Keighley. His Probate was administered on December 2, 1940, naming his daughter, "Spinster", Dora Rhodes. He was seventy nine.
