Biography
George's birth date and location are not known. There is a George Rhodes, age 35, on the 1776 Maryland census in Harford, Maryland. This could possibly be him.[1]
He married Anna Gela Kny circa 1765. They had several children. He sold a 200-acre farm in 1813 to Conrad Nicodemus. The family then headed towards Montgomery, Ohio, George dying enroute circa 1814.[2]

Hi Richard, the proposed merge between Rodes-293 and Rhoades-1460 of last July appears to have been correct that these two profiles are duplicates, based on the fact that you have George Rhoades-1460 as the father of Philip Rhoades who married Maria Weaver. The book "Families of our common ancestors with the surname Kny / Knie / Knee" which is referenced in Rodes-293 shows that George had a son Philip who married Maria Weaver. See the referenced information here: https://www.familysearch.org/library/books/viewer/138340/?offset=0#page=40&viewer=picture&o=search&n=0&q=anna%20kny If you agree, please update your information with the information from the source (or other sources if you have them available). The profiles can then be merged, and the wives' duplicate profiles will also need to be merged. No need to correct her LNAB before the merge, as it can be merged in the proper direction to maintain the surname of Kny. If you agree these are the same, we can add information from the source.
