Sarah was born in Knottingley, Yorkshire 1852 [1] & baptised Sarah Ann Rhodes, 9 January 1853, East Knottingley, Christ Church, Yorkshire the son of Charles Rhodes (blacksmith) & Elizabeth of Knottingley. [2]
The marriage of James Hayton & Sarah Ann Rhodes was conducted on 24 December 1871 Pontefract, St. Giles & St Mary, Yorkshire. [3]
Living in Holes, Knottingley, Yorkshire in 1881, with husband James, son Rhodes & daughter Lilia. [4]
A widow in 1901 living in Frampton Row, Knottingley with children. [5]
