Mary Louise Rice was born at Boston, Massachusetts, in early July of 1854, a daughter of George W. Rice and Adelaide W. Rice; she married Alfred Bowditch in January of 1880. She died at Boston in early December of 1914; Alfred survived her by four years, dying in February of 1918.
