- Elsie was the daughter of Francis Thomas and Florence Rice. Her Death Notice says she died at 33 Dudley Street, Coogee, wife of Frederick Bodeker, mother of Elsie, Alma (dec), and Joan. Aged 42. Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rice of Tuggerawong. She was buried at Rookwwod (Zone D, 16B, 675)
