Louisa Rice was born in Worcestershire, England on 30 Mar 1872 to Josiah Rice and Louisa Griffiths. ^[1]

Louisa married Thomas Ethelbert Tombs in 1898. Their marriage was registered in Worcester. ^[2]

She passed away at her home in Duncan, British Columbia, Canada on 4 Nov 1935. Louisa was survived by one daughter and two sons.

Interment took place at St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery in Duncan.
