Mary was the daughter of John B. Rice and Sarah Ann Brown. [1] She married Thomas Floyd Burks. Their children were:

The family lived in Richland, Monroe, Indiana. [2]They moved to Clay, Owen, Indiana before 1910. [3]Thomas died in 1921.
