Frances died on 28 March 1816 in Caswell County, North Carolina, USA. [1]
There are trees who have attached Frances to her grandfather John Rice of Hanover VA as well as her actual father John Rice of Caswell NC will 14 Nov 1796 . She has frequently been given an inaccurate birth year of 1735 which has resulted in this confusion of fathers. She is named in her father John Rice of Caswell NC's will with no relationship mentioned. But in the loose will papers for the processing of the estate, she clearly stated he was her father. See attached image. [2]
