Research Notes

There is a record for Mary Martha Elizabeth Rice as being the mother of Alexander Kerr, Nancy's father. It is possible that there were two Mary Rice's married to two different Alexander Kerr (Mother and Wife in this case), so I have not removed this information, but research needs to be done to verify.

She is in many trees as the the child of John and Mary Rice of Hanover VA. But there are issues and no sources. She is given 2 different birth dates in the many trees 7 Dec 1731 Hanover VA and 7 Dec 1734 Middlesex VA. The Elizabeth of the Middlesex birth belongs to a daughter of John and Mary Rice of Middlesex - not Hanover VA . But someone could have attributed the wrong birth date to her and this person is a daughter of this John and Mary Rive of Hanover. .Sources are needed.
