Abigail (Rice) Baldwin was born in Massachusetts.

Abigail (alias Nabbie), the first daughter and eldest of ten children of Asa Rice and Miriam Wheeler was born on 25 March 1764 at Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.[1]

Marriage and Children

"Nabbie" married Capt. Thaddeus Baldwin, the son of Henry and Abigail (Butler) Baldwin on 10 December 1783 at Shrewsbury, Massachusetts.[2]They had eleven children born at Massachusetts:

  1. Tilly Baldwin (b. 3 Aug 1784; d. 7 Feb 1844, Phillipston, MA)[3][4] m. 20 Sep 1812 at Westminster, MA, Rebecca Holden Hoard (1791-1827)

Death and Burial

Abigail "Nabbie" (Rice) Baldwin died on 28 March 1843 in her 79th year at Phillipston.[15] She is buried in the Upper Cemetery at Phillipston, Worcester, Massachusetts.[16]
