Marie Richard was born April 15, 1750 at Tracadie (Isle Saint-Jean, present-day Prince Edward Island) and baptized at Port LaJoye, Isle Saint Jean on 28 June 1750. Her parents Paul Richard and Marie Renée Boudrot were from Tracadie.[1]
She married Joseph Arseneau around 1770, possibly on Prince Edward Island which was administered at the time by Nova Scotia Colony. Their first child was born around 1772.
Removed Acadie, Province de Québec as location of death. No source provided.
Please note that the birth and baptism source from Family Search indicates that she was born and baptized in Louisbourg, Nova Scotia, which is not the case. The link to the original baptism record shows that her family lived on Isle Saint-Jean (Prince Edward Island) at the time.
