Anaise was born in 1890. She was the daughter of Alcide Richard and Elodie Trahan. She passed away in 1938.

In 1900, Anaise, called Anmese Richard (age 10) lived in Queue Tortue, Vermilion Parish, LA with her parents, Alcide, transcribed as Aterde (age 48) and Elodie (age 46), and siblings, Eve (age 20), Laodice, called Lasdis (age 18), Emediste, called Emidis (age 17), Cleophas, called Clopire (age 14), Eugenie (age 12), and Amedy, called Emidy (age 8). [1]

1910 Census:

In 1910, Anaise "Trahun" (age 20) lived in ward 7, Lafayette Parish, LA with her husband Alcee, called Alan Trahun (age 22). [3]

1920 Census:

In 1920, Anaise Trahan (age 30) lived in ward 4, Vermilion Parish, LA with her husband Alcee (age 32) and their children, Alton (age 7) and Luke, called Luc (age 2). [4]
Anaise's husband, Alcee Trahan, died in 1927. She then married Melozin Schexnayder.

1930 Census:

In 1930, Anaise, called Enies Scheuxder (age 39) lived in Broussard Cove, Vermilion Parish with her second husband, called Malozen (age 37), his 2 sons, Welley (age 4) and Wallies (age 8), and her 2 sons, Luke, called Lucke (age 17) and Alton (age 13). [Alton and Luke's ages seem to be wrong] [6]

Death:

Anaise died at age 48 on September 17, 1938 in Vermilion Parish. Her cause of death was cerebral hemmorhage. She was buried in Abshire Cemetery in Vermilion Parish, LA. [2][8][7]
