Hazel (Richard) Ceril is a part of US Black heritage.

Mary Hazel Richard Ceril was born on March 6, 1937 to Leo Paul Richard and the former Mary Theresa Richard in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana. She moved with her parents and siblings to Lake Charles, Louisiana in 1955. She later married James Lee Ceril and they had five children together. She is survived by her husband, James Lee Ceril; one son, Jeffery Lee Ceril; three daughters, Ramona Ann Ceril, Fernetta Jean Ceril and Panthia Renee Ceril; one brother, Joseph Leroy Richard and wife, Melores; two sisters, Drusella Davis and Mary Ann Richard all of Lake Charles, Louisiana; six grandchildren, Tiffany, Raynekia, Twanetta, Shatara, Montez and Trevin Ceril all of Lake Charles, Louisiana; aunts and uncles: Alfred Richard, Edith Berrow, Voris Richard Jr. and his wife Lucy, Leona Richard, Ambrose Richard and his wife, Mary, Bobby Richard and his wife, Coreatha, Georgia Thibodeaux, Leona Charlot and her husband, Floyd, Curley Richard, Mable Richard, Luverda Jones and Bessie Richard; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Paul Richard and Mary Theresa Richard; one daughter, M. Tawanna Ceril; and grandparents, Voris and Edith Manuel Richard and Andrew and Mary Ophelia Blackwell Richard
