Biography

Celima Richard, daughter of Jean Marie Richard and Elisa Braud, was born in 1847 in LA.[1]

She married Joseph Valliere Rivet (Rivet-689), son of Marcellin Alside Rivet (Rivet-489) and Dulcine LeBlanc (LeBlanc-8965), on 18 April 1864 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville, Assumption Parish, LA. Witnesses were Nicols Blanchard, Sosthene Simoneau, Victorin Hebert, Oreleise Rivete, Eugenie Hebert, and Cefroni Rivete.[2]

Celinor Rivet (given age 23) was enumerated on the 1870 census in the household of her husband, Valire Rivet (given age 28) (Rivet-689), living in Convent, St. James Parish, LA. Valire's occupation was Farm Laborer.[1]

Seliment Rivet (given age 34) was enumerated as the wife of Valiere Rivet (given age 38) (Rivet-689) on the 1880 Census, living in Assumption Parish, LA.[3]

She was mentioned on her husband's pension application 27 September 1898 Assumption Parish, LA.[4]

She was widowed on 27 January 1899.[5]
