Biography

Francois was born on 25 Feb 1825 and baptized in Richibouctou -Village on 4 Mar 1825. He was the son of Simon Michel Richard (~1782–1841) and Marie-Adélaïde Vautour (~1786–1878).^[1]

In the 1861 census Frank (age 36) lived in Richibuctou, , New Brunswick.^[2] The household included Frank Richard 36, wife Marie Richard 31, son Peire Richard 7, daughter Marie Richard 6, daughter Margarete Richard 3, and son John B Richard 2.

• In the 1871 census Francois (age 46), Fermier, was recorded as married in Richibucto, Kent, New Brunswick.^[3]
